We are management consultants who take a coaching approach. We work as trusted partners for large organisations and companies in leader and business development. Our offerings are tailored to the specific needs of those working at the highest level of the business world. Ekman & Partners was founded in 2000 to meet a need among business leaders for an independent sounding board. Karin Ekman is our founder and CEO. Our organisation comprises of 10 coaches based in Stockholm. We have had representation at the center of Gothenburg and Copenhagen for 15 years. We have a close international network, professional executive coaches in Europe, South America, Asia and in the US.
Individual executive coaching developed rapidly, and today a significant proportion of our activities are about coaching and process management for executives and board members, as well as the structuring and implementation work involved in a transformation process.
We work primarily with the private sector: from major listed companies to smaller consulting firms. We have clients from wide-ranging lines of business – from industry, IT, telecom, media, to life science. We offer executive coaching for leaders, management teams and board members. For more than 10 years we have also won a number of public procurements, including several top management assignments involving major transformation processes. We are happy to provide specific references upon request, from different kinds of customers on the widely varying assignments that we have completed.
We all have extensive experience of working with business and organisations, which gives us a broader, deeper perspective. Our coaches also have a minimum of 10 years’ leadership experience so they are able to meet with our clients on familiar ground: in the midst of their business operations. Several of us have been responsible for start-ups in industry, retail, services, media and IT. Others have worked as managers for major Swedish and international companies. All our coaches have training and extensive experience in both coaching and process management. The combination of our different skills, training, education, experience and profiles is exactly what we need to find the right match for the leaders working for our clients, and to act as catalysts in their processes of change. We all have academic qualifications in business economics, technology or psychology, and are familiar with different business development methods and models, having applied them in the organisations we have worked for in the past.
